In order to evaluate the relationship between women’s waist circumference and sexual attractiveness and satisfaction, researchers investigated more than 700 couples, including the wife’s waist circumference, the frequency of husband and wife’s sexual life, and the evaluation of male erection. The results show that the thinner the wife’s waist, the higher the husband’s sexual satisfaction, and the less likely he will have erectile dysfunction (ED) during sex. For women, the perfect waist to hip ratio is 0.7.
Stewart Brody, Professor of psychology at the University of western Scotland, who is in charge of the new research, said that men can judge whether the opposite sex is attractive in a moment, that is, the body curve of women, and the waist plays a vital role in this curve. There are three reasons for the “thin waist effect”: first, women with thin waist have strong estrogen secretion, look sexier, and can make men have stronger erections and higher sexual satisfaction; Second, studies have shown that women have thinner waists, more orgasms and stronger sensuality; Third, waist circumference is usually an important indicator of women’s health. From an evolutionary perspective, women with thin waists have a smaller risk of heart disease and other diseases, which is conducive to bearing and raising offspring.
The study also found that the attractiveness of a man’s waist is too thick will be greatly reduced, and the larger the waist circumference, the lower the sexual satisfaction.
