Everyone knows that smoking and drinking are harmful to health, but some small habits in daily life are often ignored. Russia’s “Communist Youth League Pravda” takes stock of five habits that seem harmless but may endanger the health of the heart and blood vessels.
1. snoring
Many people think that snoring is not a big problem, but in fact, regular snoring indicates a bad heart and is a sign of obstructive sleep apnea. This state can easily endanger blood pressure and heart.
2. Do not brush your teeth on time
Scholars from the University of Bristol in the UK conducted a large-scale experiment to investigate the impact of daily hygiene on life span. The survey results show that brushing teeth twice a day can prolong life span by more than 10 years, while ignoring dental hygiene will affect health.
3. I love sports too much
Walking and swimming are the best ways to exercise the heart, but excessive exercise will have a reaction, and the sharp change of heart rate is very dangerous to health. Many people do a lot of exercise in order to lose weight quickly, and then go to the sauna. This rapid change will put a lot of pressure on the whole body and cardiovascular system.
4. Overeating
Even if you are born with a good figure and are not afraid of being fat, don’t eat too much. Because eating too much will increase the load of blood vessels and heart.
5. Eat too much meat and don’t eat fruit
Beef, pork, mutton and other meats are high in fat, which will increase the risk of heart disease and arteriosclerosis. Experts suggest that the meat content in each meal should not exceed 10%. In addition, geriatricians also pointed out that meat food is easy to make people grow old because its pigment will accelerate the oxidation process of human functions.
Experts also pointed out that eating 30% fresh vegetables and fruits every day can reduce the risk of heart disease by 20%, because they are rich in vitamin C and K required by the human body, and also contain a large amount of fiber and pectin that “clean” blood vessels.
