Studies have shown that at least 70% of cancers in our lives can be avoided. The main reason for cancer is our wrong living habits, so as long as we develop good living habits, we can make cancer farther away from us.
1. Marinate the meat before roasting
The noisy barbecue meat is mouth watering, but it contains the carcinogen heterocyclic amine produced during high-temperature barbecue, which causes esophageal cancer. Therefore, barbecue should be eaten as little as possible. If you really want to eat, you’d better marinate the meat in lemon juice, sauce, etc. for at least 1 hour, which can reduce heterocyclic amines by 80% and prevent esophageal cancer.
2. Avoid unnecessary radiological examination
CT scanning is an effective tool for diagnosis, but its radiation is very large and it is easy to be abused. About 1 / 3 of the scans can be completely avoided. Receiving a large amount of radiation may cause leukemia, so do not repeat the scan, or take other alternative methods such as ultrasound or MRI.
3. Choose greener vegetables
Chlorophyll gives green leafy vegetables vitality and also helps the human body fight cancer. The magnesium contained therein has been proven to reduce the risk of colon cancer in women. Eating about 130 grams of cooked spinach every day can provide 20% of the magnesium required by the body.
4. Supplement 8 glasses of water every day
Sufficient water (water or other liquids) can dilute the concentration of carcinogens in urine and make them excrete through the bladder faster, thus reducing the risk of bladder cancer. The American Cancer Society recommends drinking at least 8 glasses of water or drinks every day.
