1. The more intense the warm-up, the more sufficient it is.
Yoga is a static movement. It pursues breathing and meditation in the process of practice. It needs peace of mind to complete. When warming up, if you choose dynamic dance or aerobics, your spirit and muscles will be too excited, and it is difficult to enter the situation required by yoga. Some yoga instructors regard the way of doing aerobics as a warm-up exercise before yoga, which is undesirable, because after doing aerobics, the body is in an excited state and cannot enter the meditation state required by yoga.
2. The more you sweat, the more you lose weight.
Yoga is not a simple movement, it needs to combine breathing and meditation, and requires the unity of body and mind. After a yoga class, we should feel relaxed physically, relaxed mentally, comfortable from the inside out, rather than sweating.
3. The higher the difficulty, the better.
There are many yoga movements. Beginners can start by learning simple movements. If it is difficult for some friends to complete the movements, then don’t try to do it. You can practice simple first, and then try the more difficult ones after improving the muscle strength and flexibility. Yoga is not a tiring exercise. On the contrary, it can relieve fatigue and rejuvenate the spirit. Practicing yoga every day is like doing a leisure massage of the whole body from viscera, glands to muscles, bones and even the brain. Its comfortable feeling is not easy to get in other ways. In addition, any kind of fitness exercise needs long-term persistence to achieve proud results.
4. It’s OK to move beautifully.
If you practice by yourself, you will focus too much on the action itself and often neglect meditation and breathing. If the practitioner does not understand the body and the limit, the possibility of injury will increase. Others think that asana practice is the most important. They only care about whether the asana is beautiful, not about the movements and breathing. However, yoga belongs to internal and external cultivation, and Asana is only part of it. Meditation and breathing are the most important.
