I like the old saying “pictures are better than thousands of words”. In my story, the meaning of five photos not only far exceeds 200 sweet words, but also opens a new picture of a better life in the future for me. My boyfriend John comes from a traditional Italian family, so it is more important for him to get my parents’ consent first than to propose to me in person. The trip to the Armenian islands in August is coming. I decided to relax and enjoy the sweet trip of only two people. On the first night of arriving at the Armenian islands, I sat by the window to enjoy the vast sea level and the magnificent sunset in the distance. John quietly came to me and handed me his photos from his last “business trip”. I was surprised to find that these photos were full of scenes of my hometown – my house, my school, and finally my dog buba. He was struggling to lift his paws, and kalah was written on his paws. The rest of the photos were in this order: my grandmother held a card with the word “please”, my mother held “you”, my father held “marry”, and John held “me”

My proposal story is related to a “special movie”. My boyfriend Chris and I have been in love for 4 years. We both like watching movies very much. Once, Chris took me to see the latest movie as usual, but when I got to the cinema, I saw the cinema manager standing outside the door and politely told me that we were the super VIP of the film. I looked at Chris strangely. He just smiled and didn’t say a word. There was no other audience in the cinema except us. It was very strange. Chris’s calm made me believe that this strange atmosphere was related to him. The movie began, with the subtitle “for the people I love”, followed by a set of still pictures — 1500 photos of my boyfriend and I, recording our birth, growth, laughter and tears. As the photos fade in and out, the cinema is still reverberating with our favorite songs. After the film ended, he proposed to me on one knee. A precious photo recorded the happy moment.

It was an ordinary weekend. My boyfriend Danny and I went skydiving as usual. Just before taking off, I found a photographer holding a machine ready to jump with us. “Do you want to jump with us?” I asked him loudly, because unless you have excellent professional skills, high-altitude photography is very dangerous. The photographer patted me on the shoulder and made an OK gesture to reassure me. When we opened the parachute and began to slide, the parachute instructor suddenly adjusted the position so that Danny and I could fly face to face. We were almost on the ground. I saw a banner opened in the air – “Jamie, can you marry me?”. I screamed with joy. Such a proposal of marriage surprised and satisfied me. I signaled the coach to let us land as soon as possible. After reaching the ground safely, Danny knelt down on one knee, opened a ring box and asked me to agree to his proposal.

I once told my boyfriend Mike that I really wanted to rent a seaside cabin when I spent the weekend, watch the rise and fall of the sun, bathe in the sun, and enjoy comfort and freedom. One weekend not long ago, my wish finally came true. Early on Saturday morning, we got up to catch crabs. Mike asked me to help him catch the rope so that he could cast a net. When I pulled the last rope, I suddenly felt extremely heavy, as if there was something at the other end of the rope. I tried my best to pull up the rope and found a black bag. Because there were always a lot of garbage on the beach, I was going to throw it away, but Mike said loudly, “don’t throw it away! Open it and have a look!” There is a very beautiful shell in the bag. I carefully opened the shell and found that the back of the shell said “will you marry me?” I looked up in surprise to find Mike, only to find that he was kneeling on one knee, holding a ring in his hand, and sincerely waiting for my reply. I nodded excitedly and agreed. When I returned to the seaside cabin, I received another big surprise — all our friends and family were waiting for us to celebrate!

That Thursday evening was as calm as usual. I was sitting in my shop worrying about the bad business these days. A postman delivered a magazine to me, and the postmark also indicated that it was delivered to the wrong address. I opened the magazine curiously and found that it was a usweekly magazine designed by my boyfriend Peter. In the content, I found an interview about Peter’s views on our relationship. There was also a map in the magazine. I immediately ran out of my shop and began to look for my future husband. Following the instructions of the map, I came to a step covered with rose petals. I walked up the stairs carefully and finally reached the smallest Park in Sanfan city – Peter’s aerial courtyard decorated with roses. At the gate of the park, I got a gentle and romantic kiss. Then Peter knelt down on one knee, handed me a bright diamond ring and asked me to be her wife.
