No matter how clear the water looks, it may contain impurities and bacteria. Among them, the main components of impurities are minerals, rust, etc., which will precipitate to form scale, which has little impact on health. However, if they accumulate in drinking fountains for a long time and in large quantities, they will have adverse effects on health. At the same time, it will also affect the fluidity of water and create conditions for bacterial reproduction. People drinking water with excessive bacteria may cause diarrhea and other problems. It is recommended to pay attention to the following three points when using the water dispenser at ordinary times.
First, increase the frequency of use. In Lu’s spring and Autumn Annals, it is said that “running water does not rot, and household hinges do not worm” (D ù), “which means that only the flowing water will not stink, and the often rotating door shaft will not be eaten by insects. Frequent use of water dispensers is equivalent to frequent washing with running water, which can reduce scale deposition and bacterial reproduction. Families that use less at ordinary times should wash it once a week; Those frequently used every day shall be cleaned once every 1 ~ 2 months.
Secondly, clean the faucet and sink in time. The faucet and sink of the water dispenser are often in contact with the air. If milk, juice and coffee in the cup come into contact with the faucet when receiving water, they should be washed and dried with clean water in time. There should be no foreign matters such as tea in the sink. If there is any stain, it should be removed for cleaning or cleaned once a week.
Finally, clean the water bucket groove every 2 ~ 3 months. Sometimes the barreled water looks empty, but there is still water in the tank. This water will accelerate the propagation of bacteria when it comes into contact with the air. Therefore, the water should be emptied before changing. It is generally recommended to clean the water receiving tank every 2-3 months. If white or yellow scale is found in the water receiving tank during water change, it should be cleaned in time. The operation method is: first read the cleaning items in the manual, then cut off the power supply, drain the water in the sink, and then clean with special cleaning liquid. If the water tank shell can be removed, it is recommended to wash it with clean water several times after cleaning and then wipe it dry; If it cannot be removed, add clean water after cleaning with detergent, and then discharge it with a faucet until there is no peculiar smell. Many bacteria may accumulate in the water dispenser that has not been used for a long time, so professionals should be invited to clean it to avoid damaging the machine.
In addition, the smaller water flow and longer boiling time of the water dispenser are all “cleaning signals” sent by the water dispenser. The habit of turning on the hot water switch of the water dispenser for one day or never turning it off will accelerate the accumulation of scale and shorten the service life of the machine. It is recommended to reheat it when hot water is needed.
Some families use filtered water dispensers, which can not be disassembled for cleaning. It is recommended to clean them according to the instructions, replace the filter element every 1-2 years, and pay attention to cleaning the surface of the machine during cleaning.
