1. Basic methods of choreography
1.1. Select a shape
This shape is your theme shape, so needless to say, you must think carefully about which one to choose.
1.2 expansion
Change multiple shapes (preferably no more than ten) on the basis of this shape; Connect these shapes to form a small dance sentence and make it coherent as the theme sentence (we call this dance sentence dance sentence 1).
1.3. Re expansion
Change the order of this dance sentence 1 to recombine it into several (two) dance sentences and make it coherent (called dance sentences 2 and 3).
1.4. Combination
Dance sentences 1, 2 and 3 are modified and lengthened by means of “time, space, strength, amplitude, repetition” to become relatively independent three dance segments. (called dance segments 1, 2, 3).
1.5 music
Determine the theme, find music, analyze the form, content and structure of music, and apply the parts that I think are good, especially those suitable for music, to the key sections of music.
1.6 pay attention to the beginning and end
If the beginning and end of the music are obvious, choose the movements in the dance section to change as the beginning and end according to the music.
1.7 overall adjustment
Take a look at the whole dance and modify and adjust it.
2. Basic elements of dance
Dance includes three basic elements: dance expression, dance rhythm and dance composition. Rhythm is the time factor of dance action, and the composition is composed of the expression of the dance performer and the change of rhythm, which contains space factors; Modeling dance expression expresses people’s feelings and thoughts through the character images created by dancers, so it is different from the emotions in general natural states, and is not limited to facial expressions, but mainly reflected through “strength”, “speed” and “amplitude”. These contrasting forms and the rhythm of the dance, combined with the expression, constitute the upward composition of the dance. Through the dynamic composition, the specific thoughts and feelings of the characters are expressed, and various beautiful dance imagination spaces are created. Therefore, the combination and interaction of these three elements of dance form a unique form of expression of dance art. These three elements of dance are indispensable, but they have different emphasis in different dance forms.
3. How to make modern solo dance
3.1 modeling concept and its “solution” and “advance” modeling refer to relatively static actions. The requirements for modeling are novel, action oriented and expressive. This requires the “solution” and “advance” of modeling.
3.2. Comprehensive practice of space-time force: through the development and change of movements, choreographers and dancers can enter the stage of dance segment practice. The practice of dance techniques is divided into four parts: the understanding of time, space and power, the development and change of movements, and the decomposition and reconstruction of movements.
3.3 rhythm, emotion and route practice, rhythm practice, mainly through slow, fast and changing rhythm.
Basic skills of dance
1. Small jump: combine to train students’ jumping ability. It can be developed from a simple one to two five bit small hop to a comprehensive composite small hop that crosses each other. During the small jump, stand on your knees and push your feet outward. When landing, the toes should fall first, the landing should be light, and the upper body should not sway back and forth. Squat half on the ground, tighten the upper body downward, and clamp the hips.
2. Stoop
Younger students have good waist flexibility, but their hands and feet have no strength, and they can’t support their bodies. They often use their heads to support the ground and lower their waists. Teachers should give appropriate help to students, protect them, correct the posture of the lower waist, and tell them the part of strength and the method of lower waist.
3. Big kick
It is a training to train the strength and opening of legs. Whether it is the front leg or the side leg, keep the upper body upright, clamp the middle part, and keep your eyes fixed on the front. In the process of kicking, also pay attention to the straightness of the instep and knee.
4. Split jump
It is a jumping combination of hands and levers to prepare for the middle big jump. When doing this move and jumping up, pay attention to opening your feet one after the other. In the process of opening, straighten the instep and knee. The higher the jump, the better the leg fork. When landing, quickly fold your feet together and land on your feet.
Choreography techniques in Choreography
1. Refine dance image
After having a basic idea of the choreographer, finding a matching rhythm and dynamics to form a brand-new dance image is called capturing the dance image. The more effective way is to be a conscientious person in life, carefully observe and study life, and imitate the forms of things in life.
2. Development derivative action
The basic element of shaping dance images is dance movements, which is a process of change. The combination of dance movements and various changes form a complete dance image. The choreographer should use choreography techniques to design each dance movement in this process. First of all, we should take the dance theme as the center and remove the rough and pick the fine.
3. True, erudite and emotional
Every dance work has its own theme to express. If a choreographer wants his work to be recognized by the audience and feel authentic, he should work hard on choreography techniques to make the dance have a sense of movement, show his outlook on life and art from the perspective of a social person, grasp real life and display it perfectly.
