1. Taishan
The climate of Mount Tai has four distinct seasons, each with its own characteristics. The best time to travel to Mount Tai is in summer. Mount Tai is the tallest mountain range in the hills of Shandong Province. The stratum is a typical basement and caprock structure area of the North China platform. The south part rises greatly, and the caprock is weathered away, exposing a large area of the basement – the Taishan complex, that is, the Taishan Group stratum of the Archaean era. Its absolute age is about 2.5 billion years, and it is one of the oldest strata in China. In the north, the rise is small, and the cover layer preserves the typical Paleozoic strata developed on the North China platform. The landform of Mount Tai is divided into four types: alluvial proluvial tableland, denudation accumulation hills, structural denudation low mountains and erosive structural low mountains. In terms of spatial image, from low to high, it creates a towering trend of overlapping peaks and soaring in the sky, forming a geomorphic landscape composed of a variety of topographic groups.
2. Wufeng mountain
Wufeng mountain is said to be the place where the five daughters of the Jade Emperor passed by. Seeing the beautiful scenery, they did not want to leave, so they turned into five peaks, so they got the name. It is famous for its four wonders: beauty, seclusion, strangeness and antiquity. The beautiful natural landscape and the long-standing cultural heritage coexist. In the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, Wufeng mountain was famous all over the world. In history, many emperors made pilgrimages to Wufeng mountain and built a palace gate archway, raising the status of Wufeng mountain architectural complex to the same level as the imperial palace. This is unique in the world, and Wufeng mountain has become the supreme Taoist holy land.
3. Weng Jiashan
Wengjia mountain is only 176 meters high, but it is unique from other mountains in Hangzhou due to its unique geographical location. It has Tianzhu Mountain and the north peak in the north, and the south peak in the south. It can not only block the cold northwest wind, but also absorb the humid air from the south, so that the valley around Wengjia mountain maintains sufficient humidity and temperature, often in the fog. The north and south sides of Wengjia mountain are accessible. Walking south, you can reach the south peak in about half an hour. If the weather is good enough, you can also vaguely see the West Lake landscape.
